Aloft by Marriott Wilmington at Coastline Center

The hotel was really nice! The room was so clean and we had a great view!

We paid $900 for three nights to experience surly staff, no housekeeping service and the hotel making an additional charge to our credit card, without permission or discussion, when I asked what this was I was directed to a sign at reception saying thy will take monies in lieu of any extras. While this is standard at many hotels, most have the decency to inform you as you’re checking in. But then again, this is another example of surly, disinterested staff. I would strongly urge people to avoid this hotel until the staff- front desk and housekeeping in particular go through extensive retraining.

It can be tricky to find the front door of this hotel. Parking is difficult since one area is shared by 3-4 other hotels. Best option is probably to valet (~25/day).

There just wasnt ant space to hang anything like towels etc. Also, I prefer a more private bathroom/showering area with a door instead of a curtain. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The sink is not attach to the back wall and water drips down behind the sink creating a hazard because the electrical chords are there.

It pains me to leave a bad review on Marriott property as I usually enjoy staying at this chain but this was definitely not worth of over $600 for 2 nights. The room was not stocked up and there was a dead bug on the floor. Limited parking so we had to valet. Only good thing was that it was close to the Riverwalk area. I’d not come back or recommend this property.

Love the modern feel! Rooms were clean and staff were nice! Only issue was parking! They need more parking for hotel patrons!

Convenient to downtown, love the morning coffee and rooftop restaurant

The doorman Paul was so helpful at both check-in and checkout. He made getting our bags in and out of the car so easy and has excellent customer service.
