Wilgar Hotel

Maybe location and parking space.

This is the worse hotel I ever seen. Refrigerator and free WiFi advertised but never available. Host promised to sort them but he didnt and he kept declining calls. This facility is not worth to be called an hotel.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL ITS NOT A HOTEL IT IS A HMO..FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE DONT NOTTTT GO THERE. I TOOK MY FAMILY AND WE ARIVED LATE DIE TO TRAFFIC SO HAD NO CHOICE TO STAY THERE I HAD TO SIT UP ALL NITE DUE TO FLEAS JUMPING ALL OVER THE BED I HAD BEEN BITEN ALL OVER MY BACK AND BOTTOM ...I HAD TO FIND SO.ME WERE ELSE TO STAY ..I LEFT AS SOON AS DAYLIGHT CAME ...I WAS TRUMATIISED......IT SHOULD BECLOSED DOWN ...PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST ..!!!!!!!!

Oh boy! Where do I start.. firstly greeted by someone clearly intoxicated, narcotics were obviously used shortly before showing us to our room, then it went downhill even faster. ALL 5 beds, COVERED in hairs and stains, I don't just mean a few, I'm talking hundreds of hairs ranging from eyebrow length to 18 inches long.. the beds smell foisty, rotten milk left in the fridge, the bathroom including toilet hadn't been cleaned.. the ceiling is caving in, the carpet hadn't seen a vacuum in what I imagined weeks!! The bunk bed in the middle section had fallen off so one of the children had to sleep on the floor as the fall barrier wouldn't have stopped them rolling out. Obviously I called the check in person, to be told they would change the bedding. We arrived back at the "hotel" at 9pm to find the bedding had been changed "apparently" but STILL covered in air and some kind of bodily fluids... I called the check in person again to make them aware of this, he called me a liar. Said he had done it himself, the standards here are SHOCKING.. it's so bad all 3 children wanted to go home at 10pm.... PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. IT IS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES SHOW YOU, ITS IS A SCAM

Nothing. It was terrible

The neighbors/other residents using a drill to enter our room whilst out. Came back door was open, unware of anything had been taken. We made the owner aware but wasn’t interested just said ring the police. Pubes in all the beds. Bunk beds wasn’t even made. Dirty left over socks on the floor. Other residents asking us if we want to buy drugs. The list could go on. DISGUSTING!

Location was the only bonus

If you are thinking you are getting what is in the pictures then think again! No one to greet you, the phone number that you were told to ring was disconnected, had to rely on other guest of the hotel to try and find out where our room was. (They all said they had had the same problem of getting in). On entering the room we were hit with the stench of damp and dog. There was a huge stain on the ceiling, shower wasn’t cleaned, beds felt damp when sat on them. The bunk bed railings were broken etc etc etc. we left after 10 minutes as my family didn’t feel safe or at all comfortable.

The price was brilliant very comfy room

Great location to Gig Venue. Easy check in and parking. Fridge to keep goodies in. Kettle and telly provided. As expected for the price. Somewhere to get head down for the night. Left to own devices.... Didn't see owner or manager.... If you're expecting the Ritz, this is not for you. If you don't mind basic then all good.

Bought our own toilet roll & cardboard cups for tea / drinks. The window didn't open in one room but managed to borrow a fan as it was really hot.
