We arrive little later then 6 and receptionist was closed. We had lots of trouble trying to get into the house. (Bad experience) When taking a shower they didnt have hot water it will turn off and come back again. Water pressure wasnt good at all. People coming in late at night (3am) being loud. And talk about coming up the stairs to get to the house.

Para llegar a la casa tienes que subir por callejones muy inseguros, esta lejísimos tienes que subir como 300 metros cargando maletas con miedo a que te asalten, los cuartos están separados por ventanas únicamente, totalmente inseguro, para subir a la terraza las escaleras están de picada muy peligrosas, el cuarto súper pequeño apenas puedes caminar, estuchas todo lo que está hablando y haciendo el del cuarto de lado, en general malisimo

Views are stunning!! Friendly staff. Although the guys in charge are not on the place, they respond messages almost immediately ; ) Check in and instructions were easy.

Some furniture should be improved (the 2 bedside tables in room #3 for example...) Between room 3 and 4 there is a glass partition. Unfortunately, you can hear everything from the other room clearly, which is not nice...

El servicio es muy bueno, te atienden muy bien, la subida al hotel si está pesada, no hay bañeras como se ve en fotos, pero la vista a la ciudad es hermosa.

This is a guest house and your neighbors are residential building next to each other. This building is number 24 and it has 5 floors. The first floor is the kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, plates/bowls/cups, and utensils. The big major advantage is that they provide FREE water to drink. We had the second floor only 1 room. The 3rd floor has 2 rooms, and the 4th floor has 1 room. The fifth floor is the rooftop with the amazing view from the city/town. We have 2 rooms (room1 has 2 full beds and room2 has a queen bed). Lots of clothes storage, and it has closet to hang coats/jackets. It has a long big sofa with a loveseat (plenty of space can sit up to 6 people). The view from both rooms are spectacular. The city/town is gorgeous and very hilly. Bath room has hairdryer, soaps, and iron and iron board in the closet. In-person check in at another motel/guest house from 9 AM to 6 PM. After that, it is a self service check-in but they provide you the video to watch. We were lucky and arrived at 5:40 PM and Ray he guided us to the guest house (he does not speak English at all but our nephew can speak Spanish conversant to get by). The taxi cost $35 for 3 persons from Silao/Guanajuato airport to the guest house and approximately 27 minutes ride. The town is very small so we did 6 major attractions in 1 day. On the 2nd day, we did another 2 major attractions and that covered everything. Food is very cheap in this town and for a decent meal costs between $5 and $10 USD lunch or dinner. Lots of bakeries and restaurants within 1/4 to 1/2 mile walking distance from the hotel. There is a big market (mercado in Spanish) where lots of food vendors sell here, and it's about 4 blocks from the guest house. We bought 1 piece of flanc, 2 sweet breads, 1 chocolate croissant and cost us $2.75 USD which is super cheap compared to USA.

We are very fit and we were breathing like hell to walk up 120 stairs to reach the guest house on the top of the hill (with our small carry-on luggage). The road to this guest house is very steep and narrow, and dark at night with some lights (we had to use our extra flashlights or cell phones to guide us every night). Many dogs' feces on the road so you need to watch out not to step on it. Without the spectacular view, we think no one will stay at this guest house due to climbing the stairs. There are no AC and heating; only 2 big fans. We were here from December 15 to December 18 so it's comfortable at night or morning. The temperature during the day was between 70F to 76F and at night 40F to 45F. It has no tissues; it has safe box but none of our keys worked. If someone takes shower in the building, you have to wait at least 30 to 60 minutes to get your turn. Otherwise there is NO hot water. WIFI did not work for us for 3 consecutive days. We complained and they kept rebooting the router and still didn't work. Luckily our nephew has unlimited data plan so we used his HOTSPOT to connect to laptop or cell phone. Also, you need to wait at least 30 seconds to 1 minute for hot water to come out. Lots of barking dogs at night and on the morning.

Well priced, clean, quiet, nice view, hot water, central location - everything you want in an inexpensive stay.

Lots of steps, but not too bad. It gave a fun opportunity to wander tight alleys in the area that wouldnt otherwise be seen.
