Leavenworth Local Hotel

Cute little place close to downtown.

I was visiting the prison and you were 5 minutes away so really convenient. The price was nice. I really liked the idea of redoing school to hotel and it was cool.

There was an odd smell in the room. Maybe an air freshener would help. Housekeeping left a windex bottle in the room so I sprayed that around and that helped a little.

Safe and quiet area. Easy parking.

The property was great and in a super location. The only thing I missed was a window.

Location was good for visiting family in the area. Kitchen was impressive. Big counter space. Ceiling fan and AC very good.

Dirty dishes in dishwasher so no drinking glasses available. Bed was only a double which is not adequate for two adults. 1st night ran out of hot water in shower so cold shower.

Great concept of taking an old, existing building & repurposing it. We arrived just before the employee at the front desk was ready to leave. So, when we found that there was no blanket for the pull-out sofa, we were out of luck. We had to improvise. Other than that, it was pleasant. Just wish there had been breakfast.
