The Scott at Claremont Apartments

Superb apartment that really is as good as the pictures. Well furnished and nice and big.

Parking seems a challenge because people di t park where they're supposed to and in a considerate manner despite the managers putting up signage.

Arrived early. No problem we were allowed in. We asked for a later check out. No problem.

Lovely clean apartment, great quick service when needed. Perfect location and onsite parking is a bonus.

Toilet space was a bit of a squeeze next to heated towel rail.

The apartment looks nice but you soon realise the lack of love – the ill-fitting blinds either side of the bed on the ground floor next to the building’s entrance offer a peep show, the fire is hanging off the wall, the TV remote doesn’t work, trays in the oven were dirty, promised provisions were not there, the huge statement clock on the wall doesn’t tell the correct time and the hypo-allergenic pillows on the bed triggered an allergic dust reaction. We also had a power cut on the morning of our departure and the housekeeper sadly didn’t have the courtesy to reply. The apartment is right next to the entrance door which slams loudly and with the multiple apartments, the nocturnal comings and goings (especially around the 3.00 am and 3.30 am mark) were phenomenal, not to mention the joker who loved to tinker on the piano in the hallway when coming in at 3.15 am the first night and 2.45 am the second. We just couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep on either night we stayed. We have stayed in lots and lots of apartments, this was the worst and contradicts the high score rating on Booking.com's website.

The apartment was really comfortable, well equipped and in a great location for the City Centre. The housekeeper was super helpful, thank you.
