We stayed as a couple for one week in May 2026 at the Steigenberger Hotel in Soma Bay, in room 2214 facing north-east, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The staff were absolutely exceptional. They made us feel special from the moment we arrived, while remaining professional, warm and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Romany, Bassam, Mohammed, Medhat and all the others who helped make the week so memorable. Although the hotel is immense, it never felt crowded. There is so much space everywhere that it often felt like we had our own private luxury resort. There is plenty of animation and activity available, but the atmosphere remains calm and elegant, with many quiet areas for relaxation. The hotel itself is visually stunning. The architecture, gardens, rooms and overall setting are superbly maintained, and the beauty of the place is one of its great strengths. The gardens in particular are magnificent, and the rooms are of excellent quality. We went wing-foiling, with two schools within walking distance of the hotel. We played tennis at the Cactus tennis academy about 15 minutes by car. Overall, this was a beautiful, relaxing and very special stay. The combination of space, elegance, activities, superb surroundings and above all the kindness and professionalism of the staff made it a holiday we will remember very fondly.

Wir haben Ostern 2026 eine absolute Traumwoche im Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma mit Familie und Freunden verbracht und waren ehrlich gesagt sehr positiv überrascht von diesem außergewöhnlich schönen Hotel. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet, sehr gepflegt und elegant, mit einer tolle Poollandschaft und einem schönen Strand, an dem man sofort entspannen kann. Besonders begeistert hat uns auch das gastronomische Konzept mit insgesamt fünf Restaurants – darunter vier À-la-carte-Restaurants und ein Buffetrestaurant. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Vor allem der Libanese und der Japaner waren qualitativ auf einem Niveau, das wir so in einem Resort selten erlebt haben. Was diesen Aufenthalt aber wirklich einzigartig gemacht hat, war der Service und die Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Das gesamte Team – wirklich ohne Ausnahme – war unglaublich aufmerksam, freundlich, herzlich und professionell. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, aber nie auf eine aufgesetzte Art, sondern mit einer ehrlichen, authentischen Freundlichkeit, die man sofort spürt und die heutzutage leider selten geworden ist. Genau diese Menschen haben unseren Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt haben. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team – wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Die Lage, der Service, das Essen und das Personal ist sehr gut.

Die Ausstattung ist billig und entspricht nicht einem 5-Sterne-Hotel. Das trotz All-Inclusive mit einer 24/7 offenen Bar die Getränke in der Minibar zu zahlen sind ist wirklich nicht nachvollziehbar.
