We liked the location and appreciated that there was limited, controlled parking available for our car.

Unfortunately, there were many issues. The staff showed no interest in helping with our luggage. The sofa was badly stained. The room felt much smaller than expected because the balcony—counted as part of the room size—was dirty and covered with bird droppings. There were no electrical outlets at the desk or in the bathroom. The bed was on the floor of a raised platform with no nighttime lighting, creating a serious tripping hazard, along with other uneven floor transitions that felt unsafe. Breakfast was very poor; the cold eggs Benedict was covered in an odd, sugary sauce that had to be scraped off to be edible. The advertised “river view” also did not match the review photos, being dominated by old, run-down buildings rather than the pleasant view we expected. Overall, the room appeared poorly designed and we checked out as quickly as possible, with no intention of returning.
