SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Chinatown

The even number rooms are facing a busy freeway and train track. Very noisy all night long. Otherwise, the hotel is good in a fun Chinatown district with plenty of restaurants and shops around.

The hotel itself was a very nice clean facility. The lighting was really nice. The breakfast was good....lots of choices. The facility is new or appears to be new. The sofa with trundle in the room was spacious. The bathroom was quite nice also.

The parking was terrible, $30 nightly. It is not for SUVs, only compact cars. The outside looks suspect, or shady. We had wanted 2 queens and sofa bed x3 but got 3 king rooms. That was a challenge trying to change it. Bait and switch. I suggest going through the hotel instead of booking.com. When we arrived, all we could smell was fish/ well it is Chinatown.

Parking was challenging, even in the parking garage. Very tight. The tv in our room didn’t work well and was hard to hear
