Everything was well organized. The unit was a renovated urban apartment with a well stocked kitchen. The bathroom and amenities were good. The bed was just ok comfortable. WiFi was good. All instructions were correct so that it was very easy to get in. As other have said however the train runs right in front of the hotel. If you are in the back then there are dumpsters or some other loud metal objects in the alley which are even louder than the train. While not their fault this is sort of a hard place to stay unless you are up all night, not much of a sleeper or such a deep sleeper than nothing can wake you up. Were it not for this, it would be an awesome place.

Very clean, nice apartment felt like home!

Nothing really. I can’t think of anything that was a real issue. There was one morning the elevator wasn’t working. By the time I came home from the conference it was working again. It is next to the train line, but it sounded more like a quick downpour in a storm than a train. Was actually relaxing for me, lol

i would have liked refills of coffee and water bottles

La ubicación es inmejorable, excelente. La cocina está muy bien equipada, todo nuevo y limpio. Aquí si había jabón, estropajo, papel de cocina, pastillas para el lavavajillas...La unidad tiene lavadora y secadora, aunque no las use. La cama es cómoda. Hay mesas, sillas, armario amplio, una buena tele.. Todo correcto. Sobre el precio, no puedo opinar porque no tengo más experiencias en Chicago. Se agradece el detalle del café, azúcar y sal En el baño hay champú, acondicionador y gel. No olían muy bien ( en mi opinión), y a mí me dejaron la piel con ronchas.

La ventana da a un callejón, no entra nada de luz. Intenté usar lo menos posible la habitación durante el día. No se sabe si es de día o de noche. El ruido del tren en esa fachada es tenue, no molesta. Imagino que en la fachada con luz ( la que se ve en la foto) tiene que ser un ruido tremendo. Una pega menor, demasiados códigos para acceder a la habitación. Se echa de menos ver personal, de recepción, limpieza... Cómo era previsible, no hay limpieza a menos que se pague un extra. Al llegar la habitación estaba limpia, pero mi estancia era de una semana. Si necesitas algo para limpiar tu.mismo, te ponen muchas pegas, y te dicen que vayas a comprarlo al supermercado. El resultado es que a saber cómo están las habitaciones de cada cual mientras se ocupan. En mi cuarto de baño aparecieron unos bichitos por el suelo. Por la higiene global del edificio, deberían plantearse limpiar las habitaciones cada 3 o 4 días. Tengan en cuenta que los insectos se pasan de una habitación a otra ... yo conseguí que me trajesen una mopa, pero no fue fácil.

Convenient location in the Loop with good (but extremely busy) coffee shop next door

Very very noisy thanks to trains and vehicles loading in the alley outside. Building not in great condition either.

Located in a lovely area of the city.

It was a little noisy but we soon got used to it.

La ubicación

Es un apartamento muy ruidoso, en el que no se puede descansar bien. De hecho, te ofrecen tapones para los oídos y una "máquina para escuchar ruidos blancos". Tuvimos que retirar una solución muy chapucera de ventilación instalada en la ventana, porque nos dimos cuenta, que al menos al quitarla se cerraba la ventana simple que tenía. Falta aislamiento acústico, algo que se solucionaría con doble acristalamiento. El grifo de la ducha no se cerraba bien y no paraba de gotear. Tampoco funcionaba bien porque el giro hacia el agua caliente no se quedaba fijo y se movía hasta ponerse ardiendo! El apartamento era para 4 personas y solo había 3 sillas para sentarse en la mesa a comer.

Check in automated and works well. Apartment is clean and functional. Location is good.

The unit I rented was so noisy due to the metro literally running past my window. No insulation whatsoever, the window has holes for the aircon.

Great location. A little noisy with the trains but we loved the view and neighbourhood.
