"It was a handy location beside Cambridge north station, and all in all, good value for money."

Breakfast was very good with a large selection of foods to choose from. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Our stay was a little bit off putting as the first evening the bar was crowded, with lots of children and dogs - yes dogs. While sitting with our drink, one of the dogs cocked his leg against one of the sofas. The guy with him made a feeble effort to clean it with a little tissue. But people were walking through it. Didn't seem to be enough staff for the amount of people. Also unable to use the pool due to maintenance, which is the reason we chose this hotel.

Communal areas were clean and quiet

We were put on the wrong floor initially to what we paid for we mentioned it was our engagement celebration and to be honest they didn’t care at all didn’t even say congratulations or smile at the desk. Our room was corrected to the right floor but no waters in room nothing special (our friends booed the exact same and had waters rose petals a dessert personal note ect )

Nice, clean, good facilities. The receptionist (Amy?) was lovely and welcoming. The room was a decent size, comfortable, excellent shower. Great location, right by Cambridge North station, 15 minute walk to the river for beautiful walks in both directions. 2 1/2 miles roughly to Cambridge. Frequent buses or a lovely walk. Oh, and delicious coffee. Also nice little pool and sauna.

I didn't really enjoy my swim being disrupted by people ( adults) jumping into the pool.
