Arcadia Heritage Resort

Service is good. The staff is very helpful and kind. We get a nice view of the mountains if the sky is clear. There is a mattress heater to keep the bed warm and it helped in having good sleep.

It is located quite far from Darjeeling centre, the Mall Road. The hotel provides a car service drop off/pick up to Mall Road at Rs 800. Also heater for the room is available at additional cost. And I found the bathroom to be not insulated enough and it was always chilly.

It was a very pleasant stay for my parents and me at Arcadia. The property is very well maintained and the staff are very cooperative and helpful, they were attentive enough to acknowledge all our queries and fulfill every request. The room, bathroom and entire resort was very clean and Spock and span. The food was amazing as well! We were very happy with our stay at the property.

Very over-priced, and they look/find for all possibilities (cab, site-seeing, food, etc.) to grab as much money as possible. Just a very small e.g., including tax they charged around 150/- INR for a single piece boiled egg. We had other bad experiences with sight-seeing for cab & driver booked by hotel in monetary terms.

The view from the room of the Himalaya was good.

The breakfast has very limited choice and when there are a few guest, it is even more restricted. The location is far from the main town area and the hotel is located on a steep hill. Commute from hotel is very difficult and expensive.
