Hope you like the sound of snow machines at all hours of the day. It was loud all the time. No parking because of all the trucks hauling trailers. My room was so dirty that I wiped down the surfaces before bringing my stuff inside. There was even unflushed urine in the toilet.
Very disappointing. You cannot find the motel since they changed the name because new ownership and no street number evident to know if you're at the right place. There's no one available to check you in and they do not answer the telephone. So I had to walk around the village at 8:30 night time and ask someone who happen to know that I have to pick up the room key at the gas station from the attendant. Its very stressful if you show up late at night as there are no other hotels in this remote region.
Spacious and clean room, scenic location, walkable to the few restaurants in town.
Our GPS took us right to the property, but it was confusing that the sign said Lakefront Inn, not Island Pond Country Inn, and a sign in the window said check in at the Irving Gas station next door. Same with filling ice bucket, and checkout. No problem, just confusing.
Staff is doing the best they can with limited support crew. Room was fine. Just there for one night. No issues.
Beautiful lake
The motel is very dated. The room equipment looks quite old. The bed, sheets, etc. look very dated. The bathroom on the other hand was updated and very clean. The reception is at a nearby gas station, checkin time is before 8 PM. There is nobody there after 8 PM. My bad that i did not notice that, i assumed someone will be there. This was menioned in the booking but an oversight on my part. I had to sleep in backseat of my car. This was bad on my part. It is located next to a beautiful lake in pretty town
The place is beautiful town was amazing people awesome How ever wish beds where more comfortable and wish they had more than travel size soap and shampoo with conditioner sizes overall had a wonderful time staff was very accommodating
In center of town within walking distance to all and on the pond. The beds weren’t comfortable and the shades broken with no curtain to block out outsides lights on all night long.
The hotel was convenient and clean. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable.
