Great location. Very walkable to some nice places to eat. Hotel rooms were basic, but comfortable and clean. Service was great.

This Inn isn't even called Island Pond Country Inn, which is confusing when you're looking for it in a town with only 3 lodging options. Locals seem to use the Inn property as a public beach. All business of the Inn is run through the gas station next door which leads to purchases (ice, breakfast) that should have been part of the stay. Folks at the gas station are overwhelmed by that job and pay little attention to the Inn. Would choose the other option should I go back to this town.

Great location on the lake, beautiful views of the lake at any time. walking distance to anything you want. The only thing we were shocked was there is no microwave or coffee machine in our room(but you have the store next door)
Beautiful location and view. The towels were thick and amazing. Place was clean. The only downside was that the mattresses are old, the kind with the springs that make noise when you roll over. Not great with my back. Otherwise the stay was very satisfactory.
I will be back its just what i needed. The amount of solitude and beauty was perfect. Room was basic but it was perfect for the price. I would suggest some mattress pads beds are a little springy. There was no microwave or coffee maker. But there was an irving 10 feet away.
