The Thoresby at Claremont Apartments

Location was a short walk from City centre, was great, but a peaceful area. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. Apartment was exactly as advertised, stylish, comfortable & clean. Would book again.

If we were to be picky, there are marks & small cracks all around the apartment and 1 couch was broken at the base. None of these things affected our stay, but your always unsure if you might be accused of the damage? A paint brush, polyfillar & mending the broken couch, I think would alleviate any future guests, paranoia.

Perfect location for graduation celebrations! Nicely decorated and enough kitchen utilities for a short break, maybe a bit minimal if you were planning on self catering properly. Self check in and parking were all seamless which is always a bonus.

Peaceful, good location and off street parking. Spacious and well decorated. Excellent shower and hot water.

Some of the furnishing e.g. bed and sofa are very tired and need changing. Mattress in particular impacts on a stay.

Location couldn’t have been better for purpose of visit - close to University & easy walk into the town.

Dining ware arranged in cupboards (presumably) to look nice, but with water glasses & bowls on top shelf way out of reach. Had to pull over heavy chair to stand on, in order to bring them down to use.

Great location, size and space was amazing will happily book again!!!!

This was our third occasion using the property which is beautifully decorated and an ideal location for central Leeds. Dedicated parking is very useful There was a problem with the shower which the manger resolved quickly by moving us to another room.

The apartments would benefit further from close attention to ensuring there is always a full complement of resources. For example one missed a coffee filter and there were some minor gaps in cutlery etc.

The building was beautiful high ceilings lovely light fittings.

The mattress was awful had blood, urine and sick stains all over we wouldn’t have known this if we didn’t have to make the bed there was no other hotels close enough with any availability we then slept on the broken sofas for my partner’s birthday. Update; I don’t understand how you can say there is no merit, when the pictures are there in black and white. (With previous complaints stating this all the way from April) It’s nice to see the property can reply to reviews and not the actual guests while staying or after they’ve left.
