The Thoresby at Claremont Apartments

Lovely old building with modern interior. The lady who was managing them was so nice. She organised us a late check out and gave us info about Leeds. She is an asset to these flats.

We had a very comfortable stay in a spacious and well appointed apartment.

There was a damp smell in the bathroom.

the location was good for walking to the cricket ground and in to the city center. spacious accommodation in a lovely building. Having own parking space was a bonus.

the net curtains smelt dusty, I only noticed when opening the windows. The chesterfield couches are uncomfortable.

The location was excellent - had we stayed longer in the property.

The door lock did not work. The Duvet had a rip in it and stained. The fitted sheet was also stained. The light above the shower area was not working and there seemed to something wrong with the temperature controller on the shower. The other light in the bathroom was hanging from the fitting - surely a safety issue? The toilet seat was also stained. The sofa in the living area was broken and sagging - essentially it was not comfortable to sit on. Finally, the whole place did not smell fresh!

We’ve stayed before back in 2019 & it was amazing. This time we stayed last week in order to prepare for our wedding! The team were amazing with us and did everything they could to help our day run smoothly. The team are amazing & the apartment is gorgeous & clean.

Blood stains on the duvet cover!!!!!!!! yuk yuk yuk Nicky offered to come over to give us a new one, but I offered to borrow sheets from my daughter to save her coming back from her night away from Leeds the telephone number given on the welcome leaflet was out of date - that person did not work there anymore. dried on food on the cutlery in the drawer messy worktops (oil and white powder) microwave not clean burnt on food on the frying pan in the dishwasher
