Room size and location is good

The smell of new paint is still there. Lots of small flying insects are ready to enter the house

What a beautiful property. In a lovely quiet location. Facilities were fantastic.

Nothing it was fantastic

The heater was on when we arrived which was greatly appreciated on such a cold day. The property was clean, neat and comfortable.

It looked like there had been some recent painting, so unfortunately there was a very strong paint smell.

Roomy and comfortable. Good heating. A little out of the way and the setting is somewhat undeveloped. One of two 80s-90s kit houses with lots of varnished pine but recently refurbished and everything works. (We were actually in the second, as Sails was still being refurbished.) Excellent for families. Good value for money. Very clean. Generous supply of crockery and cutlery. Natflix included. Car needed as it is a kilometer or so from the main street.

Needs a soft pillow option. Door lock is temperamental.

Hosts were lovely, even had the fire going for us when we arrived. Very spacious cabin with more than enough room for our family of five, and having two bathrooms, including a tub, was an absolute luxury! Everything was clean and comfortable and check in was a breeze. Parking was right out front. We only stayed one night but I wish we'd been able to stay longer.

A little remote and very difficult to find a restaurant open for dinner, although that is obviously not a fault of the hotel, just something to keep in mind when planning your trip. It was very cold when we were there and the fire was very nice, but perhaps having a plug-in heater for the bedrooms would be nice since the fire only warms the living area.

The place was beautiful and the entire family really enjoyed our stay there. The place was very clean and all the linens were fresh. We loved the ambience. I just wish we had more time to stay a few more days.
