PROSERPINE MOTOR LODGE

We dined at the hotel owned by the motel owner & were very disappointed.

No staff contact at all. The motel is in a very poor state of repair. Road noise is very bad. This was the most expensive motel we stayed at on our trip Brisbane to Cairns return, & not value for money.

They have a lot of work to do after cycone damage

The motel is under new construction at rear. Original area looks half demolished, roof missing off front buildings and has been for years by the rot in the timbers. Room was very basic slapped together style. Photos on website are from 29 years ago. Absolute disgrace worth no more than $100 a night not bloody $188 that’s for sure. Will never stay there again

This property should be condemned. Holes in the walls. Broken down cars in the carpark. Rubble everywhere.

I needed to alter my reservation for reasons beyond my control so I phoned the motel and the manager very rudely told me it was nothing to do with him as Booking.Com had the money. I then tried to claim on the insurance you’d sold me and got the run around with them to the point I’ve given up and resigned to losing my money. As far as the property is concerned, it’s a construction site with workmen all over the place and their trucks blocking the parking area.

Absolutely nothing

No front office staff ever, broken down building, so noisy, a ripoff rate for such a dump
