Unaware of renovation taking place. Was very dimly lit when we drove in after dark so didn’t see construction site!

I cannot remember having breakfast.

Didn't have breakfast. Could have used a table to work from instead I had to plonk my lap top on the fridge. Construction work was being undertaken limiting parking. Place was clean though.

Location was easy to find. It had hot water. The outside keypad lock was the only modern thing about this place.

See photos: Paint peeling off the door. Fixing bolts poking through the roof. Construction site directly outside the door (with associated noise). No bedside tables (so had to keep possessions on the floor). When locals asked us where we were staying & how much we paid, they literally laughed at us for staying there & paying that much. The room was obviously very very old and in desperate need of updating. The photos online make it look like it’s charming … it’s not. If we had paid 1/2 the price that we paid, then it would still be overpriced. The bathroom had 3 different sets of tiles in it. The bathroom sink had a tap placed in its ‘3rd hole’ ie. The sink had 3 holes but a mixer tap was fitted in one hole; the other 2 holes were blanked off.
