The staff were great

I thought I was booking a great hotel experience for my husband and I. We got there a little early and asked to check in if room was ready. Sure for $25 extra! No thanks. We’re told the indoor pool and fitness center was located at their “sister” property which was up a hill and needed to drive there! No thanks, but were still charged a “resort fee.” There was NO coffee or tea offered in a common area and just instant in our room. No thanks! After taking a shower I found the hairdryer did not work. Called the front desk asking for someone to exchange this for one that worked. Was told sure I could come to front desk and exchange it myself since she was the only person working at the hotel at that time, 8:30pm. No thanks! To get to their casino we had to go outside and across the street. No thanks! This Golden Nugget was not an experience we would ever repeat, such a disappointment!!!!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dana offered restaurant suggestions so we enjoyed local restaurants.

Very accommodating staff. Attractive inside. Outside very boring. Loved the ease of signing in
