Boardwalk Sand & Surf Beach Hotel Oceanfront

Awesome stay, Had a few issues, but the staff immediately took care of everything! Defiantly going back!

Convenient location

Mohamed has amazing hospitality, and always friendly whenever we seen him out and about. The room had an amazing view of the boardwalk and ocean, and an added bonus The balcony was private.

A broom in the room would be nice so we could’ve swept up the sand and crumbs of food left behind from our kids.

Manager was nice and accomdating to our large group.

Location was beach block, right on the boardwalk. Easy to access boardwalk and beach.

Typical Bait and Switch. Reserved a room at Boardwalk Sand & Surf Beach Hotel Oceanfront for a weekend in October 2024, but upon arrival we were told to check in across the street at a much less desirable looking hotel, the Hotel Charlee. We were given a room at the Hotel Charlee instead because the front desk told us that the Boardwalk Sand & Surf Beach Hotel Oceanfront was closed for the season. Another person we met who was staying at the Hotel said the same thing happened to her, but the front desk told her the Sand & Surf Building was "under construction". Again, typical bait and switch where you are paying for one thing and they switch you to another (not nearly as nice as what was booked) at the last possible moment with no recourse or any other options. We were stuck taking a room with a parking lot view, and a moldy bathroom ceiling in a decrepit old building instead of the room (with a view) in a more modern building that we booked (and paid a premium for).

Nice staff. Very clean. Great location.

I wish it had a swimming pool.
