Boardwalk Sand & Surf Beach Hotel Oceanfront

We assumed we paid in full through Expedia but the manager charged us for an extra person. He was rude and this place was disgusting. I have used Expedia for many of my travel and was never charged extra when I arrived at the hotel. I expect to receive a refund.

Older units but On the boardwalk and close to everything.

Had to pay for parking. They put a $300.00 hold on my card for a parking pass that doesn’t come off for 3-7 business days after you return the pass. $40.00 a day pet fee that I didn’t know about until I got there. AC didn’t work the best until I cleaned the filter.

Floor was dirty

The location wad nice with having the grandsons and being right off the boardwalk. Plenty of sleeping space .

Our room was in the basement. Therefore, only 2 small windows in one room were small windows that were from the base of the upper porch, with chairs in front of them. You honestly didnt know if was day or night when in the one bedroom/kitchen area. There was no seeting aside from 2 chairs at a table in the kitchen....you had to sit on the beds. Room shown online when booking is NOT what we had. There were no kitchen supplies, had to ask for a couple pots to cook with and it took me going back after a day went by to get them. Waa happy i grabbed serving spoons at the dollar store to cook.wirh after getting the random pots i had to wash in order to use that i could hear management going through a storage room close to us for. No broom in a room that is all tile and at the beach, sand is a daily issue. Upon checkout the entire door closure came down in my daughters face as she opened the door leading out of the basement. Told management I left the door open so that no one else got hurt. I was very disappointed as there wasn't even anywhere for us to be able to sit outside the room if we wanted to:( I have stayed there in the past and liked the room but I was also in a room that was just like what I had booked. Management seemed as if they were going to take care of thing promptly but did not and wouldn't allow you to wait for them, they said they would bring it to your room....don't hold your breath waiting is all I can say. There was also only parking for smaller economy type cars so we had to pay tk park my son in laws truck in and overnight lot and pay over $100 extra to do so.

Nasty and dirty! False advertising there is no free parking guy told e to pay meters! I had to put my car in a lot I paid 70 bucks! And it’s not ocean view lol u are on the boardwalk! And the framing beds are thee worst! I’m really pissed I spent 300 for one night that was not worth it! Plus I had to pay parking ! Never the freak again
