The Broadway Beach House with Hot tub

The location is ideal for access to the beach and local amenities

Reading previous disappointing reviews that were met with replies stating the property was closed during May for cleaning and repairs left us feeling reassured all would be okay. Unfortunately this was not the case. The faults described over a year ago in those reviews were still there. For the price this was the worst value holiday we have ever had. Don’t be fooled by the photos there are a lot of damaged or broken items.

Our favourites were the 80inch tvs and of course the hot tub, very clean place, very comfy beds so we’re extremely happy

The only thing I can fault the property for is the space saver stairs which lead to a private lounge, very steep and definitely need some grip tape on them.

Location was excellent and that it is dog friendly. Host Sam was really helpful when we needed a remote control one was dropped off quickly and comms excellent. Daughter loved the hot tub which was clean, hot and jets worked fine. Area really peaceful and front bedroom had loads of storage and was nice and dark. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. A bit of TLC as some of fixtures and fittings a bit tired. Our suggestions would be having a couple more bins about the place would be a great, consider having the sky box downstairs instead and some milk in the fridge on arrival would be very welcome. Thank you.

The property is well located with off road parking. The main bedroom is a good size and the bed very comfortable. There is an excellent traditional butcher across the road and a Tesco and Coop less than five minutes walk. The sea front is 5 minutes walk away and the pier / town centre 10 minutes walk. Takeaways and restaurants are also 5/10 minutes away. If you want to cook the kitchen has all you need with a large island to sit at. The lounge and master bedroom have fantastic 80 inch tvs. The hot tub was clean/treated before we arrived and the property had all been cleaned. The host was very helpful before we arrived and we had no reason to contact him during our stay. Plenty of soap, shower gel etc provided

The fixtures and fittings in the property (bathroom fittings / furniture and some bedroom furniture are becoming tired and the property decor, bathroom sealant and grout are ready for a refresh. Everything worked fine. More than 3 dishwasher tablets would be helpful particularly as the kitchen sink does not have a plug. The mats on the outside furniture could do with a wash. And the decking a re paint. We didn’t use the upstairs as we didn’t like the stairs but we had no reason to use as plenty of ground level space and this didn’t in any way detract from our experience.

Location was great for shops and food

Hot tub was not clean water .. very upset about that ..other ppls body in it 😡 No wire to pull blinds open No bowl or plug to wash up had to leave water running and keep putting washing up liquid in to wash properly.. Bath panel court my leg as all broken Couldnt open fridge with out opening freezer first ..and freezer not shutting due to ice build up . Kitchen bin had t been emptied Only 2 towels.. ie should been 4 .. 2 for hot tub ..2 for washing after shower Tv took 30 mins to even work .. and messaged owners... Boiler no pressure took ages to get hot water to bath No head rest on hot tub which already was a no go due to dirty water

The property was very clean and had everything you need, really spacious and great for couples.

The shower head needed descaling and the shower fixing was coming off the wall. A couple of areas need repair, bath panel coming away ect. The sound on the TV in the lounge was distorted and the bose sound system in the accommodation couldn’t be used which was a shame.

Great location, easily accessible, helpful host who has thought of everything! beautifully styled, furnished and nice space throughout. Puppy loved the open space. Hot tub was a lovely luxury!

Everything was great, only one suggestion would be to have a bin in each bedroom and both bathrooms.

Beautiful property just needed to proper clean .the smaller bedroom the bed was extremely uncomfortable and very small .with alot of clutter in the wardrobe. The hot tub was fantastic but the outdoor space needed a refurb and a privacy fence is needed as when about to get in the hot tub the neighbour wasn't very forthcoming and staring alot
