San Martino cave villas

Good view. large room. privacy.

Did not like the food, the breakfast were brought to the front of the room each morning like a take-away so not hot like a proper breakfast and also does not have options to pick from. Also the location of the property is down a hill so bit difficult to find and very secluded.

The location

Gorgeous villa, very big and airy. The pool was lovely with the lovely sunrise view and sun for majority of the day. Lovely breakfast delivered in the morning and a really nice bathroom.

The location was a bit awkward especially when walking home from the town at night, it’s not very safe. The TV is in an awkward position.

-the shower didn’t have hot water -the towels were dirty and had hair on them -the shower was dirty and had hair in it -the kitchen has ants all over the counter -the mat by the pool was filthy -the deck has bugs and lizards -they say airport shuttle buts it’s misleading because it’s not really a shuttle nor is it free it’s the owner who calls an Uber for you pretty much and the Uber is way to expensive about 40eur for 15min to airport -the cleaners room is next to villa cyan and there was a shirtless man in there zipping his pants up, not sure if he worked there but as a solo traveller I felt uncomfortable

This was not what we expected at all and the host, Chris, definitely didn't help putting us to ease. First of all, this isn't an official hotel, more akin to an Airbnb. No reception of any sort. These 3 "villas" are located at the bottom of an awkward narrow hill. Whatever view you see in these pictures is actually pretty far away in person. Despite Santorini being safe, my wife and I felt very isolated and the host, Chris, was giving us snarky responses to all our concerns and didn't really help to assure us of anything. Every question we asked was met with a condescending and rude response. Since we were on our honeymoon we didn't want anything bothering us so we ultimately decided to just check into another hotel, which turned out to be perfect for us!

This property has very stunishing view. It was very clean and the breakfast comes always on time. The owner of this property is very kind and very nice person. he helps you a lot about many things…

The place was just amazing! beautiful views and very private and secluded. The owners helped us rent a car and organize a catamaran tour quite quickly (and last minute). Both very lovely and attentive. We would for sure come back. Probably more targeted to couples looking for a nice secluded area to relax.

Nothing to complain. It was all fantastic but if guests want to have a bit more flexibility then definitely think of getting a car.

The villa was very beautiful, with an amazing view, especially in the evening and night. The outdoor hot tub was an amazing part of our stay - warm and with a great view. The host was very welcoming and helpful - even managed a good private last minute couples massage for us in just a few minutes. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

Unfortunately the room and towels were a bit dirty.
