"3 nights in Birgu."

charming old historical palace in the heart of Victoriosa. Nice decoration and friendly host.

There has been some technical troubles but everything went back to order!

"Beautiful Palazzino"

Palazzino Birgu is beautiful and in a great location. Beautiful room with good air conditioning and lovely bathroom.

Our bed was a little soft, for me, but comfortable all the same. Just a personal preference. Breakfast was nice, but not always as warm as we would have preferred if you weren't down first thing.

"It’s a shame about the lack of communication from the owner, otherwise it would have been better."

The location, the beautiful palazzino is so gorgeous and historic. It doesn’t feel like the usual hotel. Has an old regal style to it. Was so quiet we could leave our room door open to enjoy the open courtyard

Chiara the owner is a horrible communicator. This is the only issue I have with the place. I sent message after message with a few questions and she never got back to me. I sent a relative that lives in Malta to go by the property to tell her that I am emailing her and need more information. Chiara said she would reply to me. And then she never did. Nothing. I tried FB messenger, email and through the booking.com site too. This isn’t acceptable to me. Because of this I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. Communication is part of business no matter how busy you are. The young lady that cleans and cooks there is great. She does her job well. I wasn’t even told how to do late check in since there is no front desk. I had to try call her to see how to get the code to get the key. Ridiculous. This is the only reason I give it a poorer rating.
