The TV and phone and hit water didn't work

The owner was very respectful. I called first and he saved the room for me and when I got there, they were very nice. The room was clean and perfect for what I needed.

When we arrived we noticed it was a much older bldg. We were only staying 1 night so we thought it would be ok. We walked in and the room was extremely HOT. There were dead crickets & BIG roaches all over. The bathroom toilet would not properly flush. There were no light bulbs in the lamps, refrigerator & microwave were disgusting. We had driven 5hrs for a family members funeral and were extremely exhausted. We were given a broom to sweep up the bugs ourselves. When we ran the restroom sink tiny gnats flew out. We closed the bathroom door and left the light on in the bathroom. Turned on the tv, and turned the ac extremely low to hopefully prevent additional crickets from coming in. We ended up sleeping ON TOP of the blankets on the bed since there was only a comforter and no cover sheet. Overall it was unbelievable the overall look of the room. We had another family member staying there and even though his room was not as bad as ours it still was bad.

The only gem at this property is the woman who works the office. She’s delightful.

Poor renovation, poor atmosphere, not clean. Many things do not work.

The stay at this location was an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! Don’t stay here unless you are desperate. The best part of this stay was the Hispanic lady at the front desk she was so sweet. We get to the location the hotel looks like the Bates Motel and it’s under construction. We check in get to our room and the room looks nothing like what was advertised on the website and is definitely NOT on brand with the OYO. The windows is open so we try to close and lock it and the window is broke and doesn’t lock we go back to the front desk and the office is closed. We sleep in shifts just to make sure we aren’t robbed. The next morning we pack our stuff and do the events we were there for, we return to the room to shower and rest and we start smelling feces and we find nothing. We wake up from a nap and our room has water going from the bathroom to the door. Our cloths are soaked with sewage water. We go to the front desk and all they have available are 2 towels and surprisingly they tell us they are completely booked which we don’t understand how because there were only 3 of 20 rooms that were being worked on. We killed numerous roaches and spiders while there as well. Then they only wanted to refund us half of what we paid for our stay which was ridiculous. I would definitely NOT be staying there again.

I booked ahead online and selected a 10-11pm check in, as that is when we would be arriving. We arrived and the office was CLOSED and there was a sign saying they close daily at 10pm. This was not disclosed and after I booked, why did no one contact me to let me know based on my selected check in time??? We were NOT ABLE to check in and stay there. Luckily the next hotel in town had 1 room left. TWO DAYS LATER and I still am waiting for them to approve and issue a refund. Both said they would, but I had to call both Oyo and Booking.com and both told me to call the other one because they couldn't do it without the other. Why can you not talk to each other and resolve this? After my third call I am still waiting for a confirmation email that the refund has been requested. I am extremely frustrated and this has been a HORRIBLE experience. I want my money back and I shouldn't have to keep calling back and forth, ultimately I was denied the ability to check in and Booking.com and Oyo should handle this properly and give me my money back.
