The great location but the staff the sweetest. So welcoming.

The breakfast was very good, wide variety of items.

We were counting on the larger refrigerator in the room, the main reason we booked there due to needing to refrigerate some food items and medications. But it did not work, and when we told the front desk, she said someone would investigate while we were out to dinner. When we came back, she said it was fine, it just was not plugged in. When we went to the room, it still was not working. When we told the desk, their only offer was to move us to another room! Why didn't she offer that right upfront? We had already unpacked all of our things and it was 9 p.m., and we just wanted to go to bed. How could they say the refrigerator was working when it was not! 4 hours had elapsed and the issue was not resolved. Upon checkout, I requested a partial refund, and was told that since we used booking.com, I would have to request the refund through them, but that they would be willing to refund 1/2 of the price of the one room. More than a week has passed, and no reply from the hotel or booking.com other than I should leave this review.

I showed up hours earlier than expected and the front desk concierge really went out of her way to get me into a room right away. The room was extremely clean, and the beds were perfect. I chose the property for its convenience to the arena district. I like walking everywhere, when I can and the district just less than a 2 mile walk away. I've never really spent much time in Columbus, but that area is absolutely beautiful. Overall, the experience was much better than I expected, as I was just looking for a place to sleep for one night, during a road trip to see a game in the area.

The lobby looked fantastic and the staff was excellent! The location was perfect for what we were doing. There was a delay in check in as their systems weren't running right but they handled it amazingly!

The room was very outdated with some stains. It seemed they spent all their money remodeling the lobby. The breakfast was only until 9 which normally the hotels I've stayed at were until 10. The food we were able to get wasn't that great but we were hungry so it worked.

The hotel was clean and easy to check in. I love that my daughter could check in since she’s 20, most won’t allow checking in until age 21.

Hyatt House OSU/Columbus meets all the wonderful expectations we have for the brand. We’ve stayed at Hyatt House in other cities, and the OSU/Columbus site is just as modern, clean, and hospitable as the others. An added plus with this location is the close proximity to campus (easily walkable on the Olentangy river trail) - perfect for hospital visits, football games, or other OSU events.
