The staff are so warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
On the other side of the river, but easily walkable to Mermaid St, High st. and other Rye attractions. The cooked breakfast is of a high standard. This was our second visit to River Haven and the Expedia rate for the family room was v. welcome.
The Hotel was good the staff excellent.It would have been better if the hotel had been able to offer a dining experience in the evenings.

Nice room and great facilities a short walking distance from the historic district in Rye.
This hotel is ideally placed to visit Rye without having to negotiate the tiny streets of the old town. It is a very short walk away with good parking. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean though the carpet is a bit worn. You need to be careful in the shower in the bath as it is easy to slip - maybe a shower mat could be provided. The towels were very good - large and thick. The cooked breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
