Everything. Everybody, great felt relaxed.
Location was prefect walking distance to everything and lovely being next to the river with view of boats. Is on main road but the car park gives it distance so no noise. Staff were lovely especially the young bubbly lady who serviced us at breakfast who was very attentive. Room was a brilliant size double bed with 2 single bed we were very comfortable. No fridge was a bit of a let down and the room could use a good deep clean I.e. dust around the pipes in the bathroom. They let use the car park before and after check out which was very handed.
Really good spot if you are visiting Rye. Short walk to the old part of Rye,plentiful free parking. Nice room and very good service from the Lady at front desk. Has a Bar,serviced by said Lady,but no dinner restaurant..(while we were there) You can order in and the Hotel will provide warm plates etc;.........or,weather permitting ,walk across the river into Rye old town.
Nicely situated with good view over a river inlet. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast - good quality sausage and bacon which sometimes lack in other hotels.Relaxing bar area and outside seating next to the inlet which was pleasant on the sunny day we were there.
I really can’t fault the River Haven hotel at all - every aspect of my visit was perfect. Free parking, lovely friendly staff, spotless large rooms, ideally located in beautiful Rye, delicious breakfast and everything you could need.

We didn’t managed to stay in the hotel at all. System messed up and they couldn’t find my booking despite I have a confirmation email. Luckily they are kind to refund us rge difference in cost after suggesting we rebooked at their sister hotel. The quality was definitely below our expectations
A nice hotel with really friendly staff and a tasty breakfast cooked to order.
Lovely hotel in a good location. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of parking. The rooms were a good size and very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was also clean but in need of updating. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff made you feel welcome when you turn up and for breakfast.👍
