Gran Meliá Chengdu

Quiet and spacious hotel with plenty of facilities to keep the family occupied. Service from the staff was great as well. Will definitely return to this hotel for future stays in Chengdu!

Wir sind mit dem Hotel einfach super zufrieden, es ist viel besser als erwartet. Super Lage, ruhige Umgebung, großes und sauberes Zimmer, klasse Service, sehr nette Angestellte (nochmal vielen Dank für Vivien an der Rezeption. Wir hatten am ersten Tag Probleme mit allen Karten, konnten nicht bezahlen, aber sie war die ganze Zeit sehr geduldig und lieb, versuchte alles Mögliche, um uns zu helfen). Die Leute im Frühstücksraum sind auch super freundlich. Alles in allem: Wenn wir nochmal nach Chengdu fahren, brauchen wir kein anderes Hotel zu gucken.😎

Es fehlt nur noch eine kleine Bar, die bis 24 Uhr oder später geöffnet ist.

Fantastic hotel! Quiet rooms (we had the rooms with a small garden facing the courtyard), top notch service, great pool, gym and kids club. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. And right next to a park. We would happily stay there again whenever we are in Chengdu.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the stay is very comfortable. The service attitude of the hotel staff is also very good. There is a dedicated children's activity center in the hotel where kids can do crafts in the afternoon. The staff members, Xiao Zhang and Xiao Zhou, are very attentive to the children. Thank you so much. Families with children can definitely choose this hotel; it's really great. The afternoon tea is also very nice, with a wide variety of pastries to choose from, and there are performances to watch. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the overall experience of staying here is fantastic.

From the cleaner to the general manager - everyone was so kind and friendly. We really felt special and like a VIP. The hotel is huge and not high rised like many other hotels but spread over many different buildings all linked by long corridors. Our room was one of the best we have ever stayed in and looked out over the park and lake. In the Red Level lounge we were given a set menu each evening of hot and cold tapas. You could order drinks from a wide selection. Elaine was trying out her latest cocktails on us. Thanks also to Lydia who was only on the job one week and was trying her best at English. The food was top quality as was the service. Although the hotel is not close to the city center it was an oasis of peace and tranquility. Just what we needed after several busy days in the city center. Can't wait to return.

Nice location a little outside of Chengdu downtown. All very nice and service was stunning.

Overall, I had an amazing stay at Gran Melia Chengdu. What I really like: + A well appointed room with a beautiful view + Outstanding services from check-in to check-out. A special shoutout to Edison and Jack who are happy to help with any request or question. (I hope I got their names correct) + Good noodle bar in the breakfast buffet What could be better - Fitness center could have more equipments (but I guess this won’t affect most people) I will book this hotel again when I have a chance to return to Chengdu in the future.

Gran Melia Chengdu is an absolutely stunning hotel. Common space is nicely decorated and makes the hotel look very luxurious. The room is spacious. The bed is so comfortable that it’s so hard to get up in the morning. I also enjoyed an evening walk around the lake which is just right next to the hotel. Another outstanding thing about Gran Melia Chengdu is its staff. Everyone is nice and will go out of their way to help. I’m particularly thankful to Edison Huang for helping me plan how to get the most out of my leisure time in Chengdu and providing good recommendations from the local. I had done zero planning before coming to Chengdu, so this is much, much appreciated.
