Ashland Motel

The description of the room was entirely different from what the room actually was like. The description said it would be a king-size bed and would have a separate sitting area. There were actually 2 queen-size beds in the room and no separate sitting area. Just a small table with two office-type chairs. It is a very old building and smelled musty.

The motel did not have the room I reserved. It d8d not have Wi-Fi, as advertised. The bedside lamps did not work. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom sink was cracked, and I was actually afraid to use the shower.

We stayed 4 days and we were charged extra for our stay the day before we left.

Everything was fine

To enter the ground level room, we had to step up over 16" and to exit, it was the same 16" step down with no railing. The bed area had no electrical plug-ins for my c-pap machine. Therefore, I could not use it !!!!!!!!!!! The coffee pot had a film inside-did not use it. I would not go back.

We paid $100 for one night in a broken down, moldy room. Everything was unplugged. The manager didn't expect us dispite our reservation. The air conditioner smelled like smoke. It was the worst motel room we have ever stayed in, and we've traveled to many 3rd world countries.

No bathroom window covering. Plug-ins that didn’t work.

Service was great. Motel is just run down.

Small but quaint motel very near Lake Superior. Could use more updated remodel in the rooms and grounds. Comfortable beds.

Shower walls had mold on them and shower curtain was stuck together on the bottom from mold......There were body hairs in the bathtub.
