The ‘fine dining’ restaurant was where breakfast is served and it’s difficult to shake off that breakfast aura

I have been a member for 17 years … what a rip off the restaurants are at racv Healesville We went to the Riddles Green .. my friends had the prawn curry $42 for 5 prawns… main rice!!! I had a chicken snits burger they only put half the Schnitzel on it!!! Much better value at the local Thai kitchen for curries and much better service!!

Value for money was exceptional

Attempted to cancel a reservation for two nights a week in advance for a conference and was refused a refund on the basis that it was not 14 days in advance. Apparently it was in the conditions when booking which I did not see. The conditions in the confirmation email point you to their web page which say something completely different. The RACV Healesville is a conference venue used regularly in the industry I work in and have stayed here on multiple occasions.

The location

A cockroach on the bench in our room as we arrived, the bathroom hadn’t been mopped, had marks on the floor. The pool was over crowded. The hotel was full of children and the main restaurant wasn’t open, the breakfast area was over run with children. One on a scooter flying through people with plates and drinks . We overheard someone asking for their room the have the middle door opened as family were in the next room, they were told it would incur a charge. Definitely not value for money.
