The Studley Hotel

The location is great, easy access to central Harrogate. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff very helpful and friendly.

The room was a little cramped and the shower/bath design not great for older people.

Brilliant location in the middle of town. Although we had the option of pre-booking parking, we know Harrogate well so found some on street parking nearby. The room was small (as expected) but very comfortable. Although we were on the top floor and it was a warm day, there was a desk fan available for us to use. Amenities were all provided for and the staff were so friendly.

Nice linen and towels. V good shower.

I had an attic room. There were a lot of stairs to get to it.

Rooms can be a bit tight especially bathrooms, beds a little too soft. Difficult to park.

Harrogate is one of Europe's great spa resorts. and home of its own genuine Agatha Christie mystery. It boasts some of the greatest Victorian era heritage architecture in Britain, most within a 15 minute walk of this hotel. Parking is available for a fee, bu the hotel will also give guests a free two hour parking "wheel", which was more than adequate for my needs. Book a Turkish bath (around 40 pounds but a life experience if you haven't done one). And reserve time for tea and pastries at Daisy's, an instituion.

Could have done with a coffee machine in the room, pillows let the bed down

Liked the ambience and the comfort of the hotel and its superb location. Reception was so very helpful on every occasion we went there. We had a spacious room with everything we needed and more and a view out onto the Pump House Museum and the leafy entrance to the Valley Park. The Orchid 'in house' oriental Restaurant was excellent. We certainly hope to visit again soon.
