The location and the view from the balcony were fine and these were the reasons that we booked this apartment for 10 days.

This apartment is advertised as a luxury apartment. Well there is nothing luxurious about it. There are no comfortable chairs or loungers on the balcony and the two wooden chairs that are there are very uncomfortable and not fit for purpose! The TV is a smart TV, but you cannot get any free channels, the only way that you can watch anything is through Amazon Prime or Netflix and if you have an Amazon Prime account in the UK its not free in Cyprus and at £3.40 per program it works out expensive. There was no smoke alarm fitted in the apartment even though one is required, but I did find a dismantaled one in a drawer and we eventually found the required fire extingusher hidden in a cupboard. There is a very good fitted oven, but if you use it, be aware that there is no oven gloves or tea towels in the kitchen. There is a small safe in one of the wardrobes to secure your valuables, but unfortunatly its locked and wirh no instructions on how how to use it! The beds are ok and reasonably comfortable but unfortunately the pillows are cheap and provide little or no support. If you open any of the windows or the door at the rear of the apartment you immediately get all the cooking smells from the adjacent Mar Bianco Cafe. In the 10 days that we were there we never had a cleaner or our towels changed, yet the adjacent apartments which are run by a different company had a cleaner 5 days a week and their towels were changed every 3 days , they also had access to free satellite channels such as BBC World News, Sky News etc. Check them out at www.paphinia.com.
