Location & room layout.

Room looked straight into the building opposite. Staff were disinterested & the valet staff were constantly on their phones. During a conversation with the receptionist she answered the phone & walked away. The coffee in the room was out of date & we asked for it to be replaced, it was replaced with more out of date coffee. We gave up asking for indate coffee. There was no soap at the sink. When we asked we were told to use the soap from the shower! The shower, bathroom & sink are open plan so how can you get the soap if someone is in the shower. Totally unacceptable. The upstairs pool area had inconsistent policies. On two occasions we could take a cake in with us on the third occasion we were told it wasn't allowed!

Fancy, fantastic, fabulous, adorable! The decoration of room, dining area, library, pool, rooftop are so so so beautiful. This Virgin hotel in New Orleans is much more beautiful than the Virgin in NYC or Chicago. The view from my room is really nice. Staff are friendly.

The shower room is a little bit dirty. Not many dinner options.
