Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Ensuite good size.

Clean, comfortable, cosy. Had everything I needed.

Nothing I didn’t like, but it would have been helpful to know that if returning after the hotel is closed access was via the rear fire stairs. A local person helped us as he knew what to do otherwise we would have been stuck outside!

Historic, clean, great atmosphere In the heart of town

The size of the room and the large bathroom/toilet was so comfy. Carpark at the back of the hotel for access to back upstairs entrance, or non-time-restricted on-street parking for front entrance was great. An added bonus was, fabulous meals in the downstairs bistro, so we didn't have to brave the Wintery cold and rain. One shop on the other side of the driveway, out the front door, we had a beautiful breakfast in a spacious cafe.

our room was over the outside drinking area, became a little noisy being a Friday and Saturday night. Other than that, I could not fault the staff, premises or food

noise on Friday and Saturday nights
