Prince Smart Inn Kyoto Shijo Omiya

Loved this hotel. The location is great and the room in general was a great size compared to the usual hotel size in Japan. V clean and lovely staff, they gave me an umbrella when it started pouring.

The location, close to the bus stops, neat well appointed rooms.

Everything was good

Hotel moderno, molto pulito e ben organizzato. Il personale è stato sempre gentile e il check-in automatico è semplice grazie all'assistenza dello staff. Le camere sono abbastanza spaziose per gli standard giapponesi e il bagno è ben progettato con doccia separata e lavabo esterno. Molto comoda la possibilità di prendere gratuitamente acqua ogni giorno, prodotti da bagno e pigiama (taglia unica). Buona anche la posizione per visitare Kyoto.

La colazione inclusa è davvero essenziale: comprende solamente un piccolo panino con tè o caffè, mentre brioche e altri prodotti sono a pagamento. Inoltre l'insonorizzazione non è delle migliori e nelle camere ai piani bassi si sentono sia i rumori del corridoio sia quelli provenienti dalla strada.

Room was lovely and clean. There were plenty of amenities for guests at reception including pajamas if needed which was all included in your room price.

Only a small criticism but upon checkin we were greeted by a lovely girl at reception but to then be shown a machine to check in and after a long day travelling before arriving at the hotel its nice to just be checked in by a person rather then a self check in .
