Good staff

Was so clean, so respectful and so beautiful

This was by far the best choice of places to stay. Price was right. Place was extremely clean. Bathroom was fantastic and the shower was hot and great water pressure. So relaxing after walking 20,000 steps in Kyoto.

7-eleven under the hotel, with a Fresco across the intersection, and a 24-hour tonkatsu sit down restaurant at the other corner. 14 minute walk to Nishiki Market, 1 hour transit to Monkey Park or Bamboo Forest. Free coffee and miso soup in the lounge area of the hotel. They expect you to eat and drink outside food stuff in this area instead of your room, because any stains you leave in the suite will have a cleaning charge. A place to lock your luggage with a physical Suica card if you got there before your check-in time. Room was fine for a travelling couple like us. Giant letters "Hotel Tavinos" running down the side of their building made it easy to find, haha!

It’s my second visit to this hotel and I re-booked it for a reason. Its convenient location as well as modern clean and practical facilities make it the best and easiest stay for tourists. It even has accessibility for disabled people. My mother is 75 and has trouble walking and the hotel was the best thing for her to recover after exploring Kyoto. 10/10

Perfect for a minimal stay covering the basics. The room was nice and dark and clean. My only issue was with the pillow which was slightly uncomfortable for me as I prefer a soft pillow and am not accustomed to the grain filled style pillows in Japan. Otherwise it was an excellent stay. I will be staying here again.

Was a interesting place to stay. Cute. Nice bed, sheets and blanket. Clean. Small sitting space. Not great room lighting. Wish washroom had better space to put your things down. Clean. Far as laundry go's they need 2-3 more driers. I put mine though 3 times and still had to take some out and hang dry it. From what I saw in the laundry room. Its the main reason holding up people getting laundry done.

This was not our first time in Kyoto and we decided to stay at New Hotel ( Tavinos ) and we regret it. Pos : check in is quite fast and they provide free tea or coffee at the lounge Neg : Room is quite small ( we stayed at Triple room ) we can accept it especially in Kyoto but one thing that we can't the rooms is full of dust. We can see it dust flying on the air everywhere , even the bathroom. This is the first time we stay in the hotel and we wish to check out as soon as possible.

Meh. Room and decor are cute, but room is dark, stained carpet, dusty. Couldn't get a second pillow on my first night. I'd try another hotel if I ever return to Kyoto.

Had the best experience. Will definitely stay here again in the future
