Great spot for exploring Kyoto. Short walk to the Gion District, plenty of trains and busses stopping outside so a perfect base. Free teas and coffees in the lobbies and small pastries at breakfast. Check in easy and staff relatively friendly. Room was lovely - everything we needed and nice and clean.

The hotel is super convenient and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a place to just sleep after a long day exploring Kyoto! It’s basically a bed and a shower and the daily amenities are collected every day from the lobby area. There’s free drinks and a baked good for free every morning. And there’s a 7 eleven connected to the hotel which is GREAT for late night snacks or breakfast. It also offers luggage forwarding which is super convenient when moving cities. It’s a unique design and very playful and a central location to all our destinations. If you’re looking for a simple place to sleep and get going through out your day, this is the place!

Modernized, and a walk in shower. Cute design and concept as well as a nice lounge area for guests to hang out in. Room was also spacious!

The hotel is offering nice facilities for luggages, tea/coffee, and a common dining table if you want to consume some food there. Also the toilet and the shower is nice. But I have to say that I found it unconfortable because of the way the beds are placed on a re-elevated support, lack of space for opening the luggages, especially if you travel for more than a week and you have something bigger than a cabin luggage. It is also having this dark theme where all walls are black and the lights are not illuminating enough the rooms. The location is instead nice for moving with the bus toward the station or the main touristics attractions.

"Cool hotel in the center"

What a super nice hotel this is! Close to the bus stop and within walking distance of Kyoto station. The hotel is nicely designed and the shared lobby is pleasant. Automatic luggage storage with the Suica card, free coffee, water and a simple sandwich in the morning. We used the laundry and this worked well. Machines were cleaned well and there were enough available. Staff was friendly. Definitely recommended!

Mattresses were good. The pillows are so uncomfortable. The room ac would warm up and you’d have to turn it off and then on again, ac was really loud too. Tv kept lagging. Enough space for luggage, not much counter space. Connected to a 7/11, laundry on site. Free bite sized croissant or danish for breakfast.

New modern hotel with a fun theme. A nice middle ground between attractions. Walking distance Gion district and a walk plus subway ride to things like the bamboo forest. A light free breakfast is provided which is always a plus. 7-11 is below the hotel which is obviously amazing. Would stay again.
