The style of the home was amazing. The staff promptly replied to any questions we had. We had everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Plenty of room.

The beds were more firm than we are used to, but it was still very nice.

Very beautiful property. Loved the nice combination of modern and classic machiya style. Close to the river, which was lovely. Loved walking around the neighborhood and looking at everything. We also enjoyed the coffee/chocolate shop around the corner!

It is a bit of a walk to convenience stores but still doable.

Great location. Well appointed. Good space for our family of 5.

Some milk in the fridge on arrival would have been great.

A comfortable house in a quiet location near the river. Close proximity to the train station and large bedrooms.

The house is lovely and in a fantastic location in a very quiet neighbourhood next to the river with easy access to restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The nearest metro is only 10 minutes' walk away.

There really was very little not to like. I guess the kitchen in the house could have a bit more equipment. We could only find one plate! (But there were plenty of bowls.)

Very cute & traditional Kyoto home with exposed wooden beams (exactly like the pics)but with all modern amenities. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood but close to the Keihan line. Supermarket & few restaurants within walking distance.

The aircon in the dining/kitchen & living room were not that effective . Only one shower/bathroom but 2 toilets
