"It was the perfect place to stay in Cardiff."

Though the breakfast was nice I felt like the breakfast lacked variation. The exact same dishes were served for all the days we stayed. A little variation would be nice. I also greatly appreciated being able to upgrade to a superior room and at a quite reasonable price.

"A fantastic hotel in a great location"

Fantastic location. Superb shower and comfortable bed in a good size room. Great selection of choices at the breakfast buffet.

We stayed on a Saturday night and our first floor room seemed to be directly above the function room where a party was taking place, therefore we experienced loud, pounding music till midnight. Check what is on and request a room away from the function room when you book. It is a huge hotel, so there will be plenty of options elsewhere in this great hotel. Out of necessity we booked two days before our stay. Having said all that we would definitely book to stay again.
