Comfortable layout

Location is incredibly central to everything. Chocolate hour in the lobby was a wonderfultreat at 3pm every day. The rooms were set up perfectly for two, bed was comfy and bathroom was so nice!

Room service options were lacking which was disappointing , had to resort to uber eats getting delivered on some nights. Hotel robes would have been a nice addition. Buffet breakfast was sadly a bit lacklustre, especially when it came to alternative milks for the cereal bar and vegetarian options.

Location, excellent staff, daily cleaning, excellent shower and hot water supply.

It’s advertised as valet parking at $40 per day - but guests are required to park in either one of the four 5-minute spaces out front or a handful of spaces in a back laneways when they arrive at the hotel. If this coincides with a busy period (and the hotel is in the CBD) you can spend an hour circling multiple blocks waiting for a space to open up. One night our vehicle was left in the five minute zone overnight rather than being moved to the multi-storey carpark. We also found the food at the hotel’s Italian restaurant to vary from excellent to very ordinary - the variation in the taste and quality of two dishes we ordered on two separate nights was attributed to ‘different chefs’.
