Birchwood inn

Primero en la oficina nunca hay nadie, tienen que esta abierto, pero no hay nadie , cuando uno llega a check in hay que llamar un numero , contesta una señora y que ahi esta la llave en un buson y que Ella ba hacer el check in , llegamos al cuarto y estaba lleno de moscas,matamos como 10 moscas la alfombra de muy mal Olor, todo muy mal nos dieron unas toallas Curtidas, como que las tiraron al piso , no samosas ni una tualla ni los artopamos con las cobijas del Hotel compre toallas y cobijas , luego el area el grill super sucio , despcion total .y Luego me cobraron mas de lo que acordamos , en Virginia Beach nos hospedamos en La Quinta Hotel y me cobraron menos y ahi si cubrio nuestras expectativas,

The staff, even after they left the island/after hours were helpful, just a phone call away and helped move rooms when needed

Do yourself a favor and look at other locations. This property is not taken care of at all. The ceiling titles falling off the floor. The flooring was coming up in several location. The front door had duck tape on it because of the gap between the door and the frame was too large. The door didn’t close properly. The phone number on door was to the owners who when called the office manager and told her nothing about the reasoning just to call me. That property manager was very nice and polite under the circumstances. I felt bad that she even hard to work for them.

My stay was fine !! The motel it's self from what I could tell outside was clean inside rooms weren't fancy but did the purpose of what needed for my stay !! Staff was friendly and when ask for extra items always gave them to us!! Pool was not very busy so usually had it to yourself!! Could of used a cleaning along the sides mainly and little on bottom had built up other than that enjoy the pool for few hrs . Flys could be bad at times but didn't seem to buzz around close to ya though that's a plus!! Our door didn't seal as tight as I'd liked but managed!! Could fix door seals for more fit !! Had quiet neighbors that's a plus!! I would stay here again.

No office staff on site upon our arrival! Sign on office door said to call a phone number to get check-in info! Was told where to find our room key, which did not work! Called phone number again and was told to try alternate key. When we finally got the door open to our room we were met with multiple flies buzzing around the room! Then when we unloaded our luggage and attempted to hang up our dress wear, NO CLOSET/HANGING SPACE We would NOT recommend this Inn

The only good thing really was the pool, we had to call every time because the front was not open, even though it said it was, the toilet was so little my husbands knees were in his chest, the carpet needed an upgrade, it took the air conditioner almost 3 hours to cool the room, the shower took at minimum 5 minutes to heat completely to get a shower, I turned it all the way and it got warm so I got in after a minute or so, a few minutes later it actually got hot that I screamed and had to turn it way back Our last day was packing to leave and our smoke detector started to go off, none of the people cleaning the rooms came over, until we went and told them it was going off and we did t know why, she came over disconnected it and pulled the battery Again the pool was very nice, not extremely big but nice and clean, did need a new gate as it was falling apart to get into it It was our first time trying this hotel and to say I wish we would have spent the extra $25 and stayed where we normally do is an understatement

Location was great. About a 10 minute trip to the beach and walking distance to town.

Very run down and dirty room. Definitely the worst place I have stayed at. Towels looked so dirty and old and only provided 2 towels when we had 4 people staying in the room. Front desk never had someone available and when you got a hold of someone, you would ask them for more towels and they would tell you that you need to ask a housekeeper.

Posizione perfetta per la vista al parco naturale. Comoda e spaziosa la camera.

Mobilio molto obsoleto. Odore di umido e di stantio nella stanza. Stile un po' vetusto
