Facility was nice. Parking lot and access to lot need paving. Green area around parking lot needs to be cleaned up.

Rooms were big and beds were comfortable. Manager went above and beyond…breakfast is not grab and go…waffles, hard boiled eggs and even sausage gravy and biscuits…along with yogurt, bagels, muffins. It was a pleasant surprise. Staying here again on our way back from our room trip.
This hotel is still under construction—It should be finalized in the next few months. If you are looking for a clean room and don’t mind some construction in other hallways/ spaces, this place is fabulous. Huge king bed with clean linens. A huge living area with stove fridge and dishwasher. In the process of updating this hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and did not mind that they were working on other parts of it. Looks a little rough driving in with the parking lot… But again it’s all under construction and the room is great.
I hate to write negative reviews, but the truth needs to be told. This property should not be open. There is still active construction throughout the building. The computer system does not work. The door keys do not work - the front desk staff had to let us into our room each time we returned to the property. Our bathroom door would not close...like, it only went 2/3 of the way before it was completely wedged against the flooring. The AC does not work, it is was a fairly warm weekend in Clarion. At least the window opened. The pavement is a potholed mess. The only positive were the front desk staff members - they took the nonstop beatings they received from the guests with grace. They deserve medals and bonuses for what they no doubt endure hourly. But, given the state of this property, that's probably not happening. MainStay and the Corporate folks should be embarrassed that this property was clearly forced to open before it is ready. Like REALLY embarrassed.
