I stayed at Le Mersenne Hotel in Zanzibar in a Deluxe Ocean Front Villa and, considering how much I paid, I expected a much higher standard of service. Unfortunately, I faced several issues during my stay. There were ongoing problems with hot and warm water in the sinks and showers, which made things uncomfortable. I also informed the staff in advance about my nut allergy, but food containing nuts was not clearly explained to me, which caused an allergic reaction. The room itself was also a big problem and did not meet my expectations for a hotel at this price level. I have stayed at other hotels for less money and received better service. The location is beautiful, but overall my experience was disappointing and could be improved with better attention to guests’ needs and safety.When I raised these issues with staff, I was told they would give me some fruit as compensation, which I found completely inappropriate and insufficient given the seriousness of the problems I experienced.

The staff June was make bill 50$ more than remove she’s “mistake” after my checking. Was order omelette on breakfast and they forget to cook it 😂

Breakfast was average. Location was excellent.

Breakfast and other food on the menu could have been better prepared, more especially the hot foods.

stuff are sooo nice the place it self is beautiful n clean n they gave me a free cake for my hubby b day that's was speacil good hospitality
