Maris Beach Hotel Phu Quoc

Perfect location right on the beach. Very spacious rooms. Not far from nightlife.

Great building in a superb location, but the hotel seems to be run by someone who understands nothing about tourism. The breakfast room is huge and bright, but especially for Westerners, there's very little choice (no cold cuts, cheese or yogurt). The coffee cups are on a shelf near the floor and way in the back instead of on the sideboard. A safe is listed as an amenity, but it's only available at reception and not in the room, which is really inconvenient.

Like the room and the balcony. Breakfast options to suit all tastes . Very close to the beach.

Sometimes felt reception was a bit impatient as English not good . Outside hotel there was allot of rubbish from construction from another hotel but seems that rubbish is an overall problem

Clean room, access to beach and Beach club services.

BAD STAFF AND SERVICE.

The location is very convenient, the bar in the beach front is a 10! Friendly staff and easy to arrive from the hotel

First night I was given a room with mold in the bathroom and no door locker, it was late and I request a change the day after, they upgraded me to a bigger room where the TV and the bed lamp wasn’t working (didn’t complain anymore). The breakfast is quite bad, DON’T ask for any kind of egg……don’t know hoy is possible they don’t have an outbreak of salmonella given the way they are managing the eggs (using the same bowl for hours to place the eggs to scramble them before placing in the pan) disgusting…

Dårlig og mangelfuld morgenmad. Ikke nok til de gæster der var der. Og alt var tomt en time før morgenmad var forbi

Kamers zijn netjes.

Gebouw is heel gedateerd en strookt niet met de foto’s op Booking. Er is veel geluid op de gangen en andere kamers, slecht geïsoleerd. Ontbijt is zeer primitief: weinig keuze en lage kwaliteit. Toastbroodjes worden ook 2 dagen geserveerd en zijn dus al wat hard op tweede dag. Personeel niet al te vriendelijk, soms ook gewoon niemand aanwezig op receptie waardoor wij bijvoorbeeld een kwartier hebben moeten wachten bij uitchecken terwijl wij een vlucht moesten halen. Receptionist kwam ook op dode gemakje aangelopen zonder excuses. Zeker geen 4 sterren waard.

Gute Lage. Preis Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung.

Vor dem Hotel extrem vermüllt. Im Zimmer war es muffig.

The hotel was in a good location - really close to restaurants and bars. We only stayed for 3 nights which was fine. I wouldn’t stay for longer here.

I wouldn’t say this is a 4 star hotel. It was clean but a bit basic and dated. The breakfast also was not that nice and the staff weren’t very friendly.
