B22 - Rising Sun 2 Bed Flat

Fantastic apartment with a good view and great location.

The location

Where to start? The keys had to be collected from a different place to the property and because we were after 7pm we were charged to pick up keys for the property we had over-paid to stay in. There were ants in one of the bedrooms and also a cockroach. The floors were sticky and dirty. The bathroom had an ill-fitting chipped loo seat, which slipped every time it was sat on; the lid hit your back every time too. The shower was falling apart and attached so high up it was difficult to reach. When it was touched it fell apart and every shower time it had to be put together again. The towel rail and bathroom cabinets were rusty and filthy. The internet did not work and I had to spend a fortune on data. We tried to call in to see the property managers but the queue was long and I did not intend to waste my holiday time waiting to complain about the above as we had noticed the reviews from before and NOTHING had been done. We contacted the property through the app but they did not answer our questions. They just sent us a standard message telling us how pleased we were to have been their guests!

The location was right in the old city which was nice. The view was great and the apartment was large. It was nice to have a fan and washing machine.

So many things could be easily updated to make the stay much nicer. The toilet lid for example doesn’t stay up and it’s heavy so it slams on your back. There are huge gaps around the door and the shower doesn’t stay up. The apartment is really loud at night time. We couldn’t sleep properly. You can only pick up keys between 3-7pm or else you have to pay 40€.

Well located, close to the Lagos Marina and very beautiful beaches.

I loved the fact that it has lots of natural light, has a modernized look and is very clean.

Very beautiful accommodation, very clean and with a very good view! Pretty decent breakfast.

Very good accommodation, with incredible natural light, good views around and with all the amenities... there were clean, fragrant towels and it was very clean.
