Loved how cosy the cottage was! The bed was so comfy. We both had really good sleep for the three nights of the stay. Loved that some food was provided, we had a lovely brunch without leaving the cottage. The complimentary bottle of wine was also lovely and much appreciated. The bathroom was also really gorgeous, clean and the spa was heavenly. The cottage was just what the doctor ordered for a break away from work and city life.

The only thing I had issues with was the paint on the floor tiles in the hallfway that kept chipping off because the paint would get stuck to my feet. I am Chinese, and so my partner and I both don't wear shoes indoors out of habit, so this may have been avoided by wearing shoes, but I just could not bear to wear shoes inside a home. We did get around it by wearing socks inside!
