B&B Gli Archi

Hosts were very kind and hospitable, were chekcing on us and were trying to help and fix our issues despite the language barrier. Property was clean and looked exactly like on the pictures.

We were visiting in October, so it was getting cold during the night and since there was no heater and air conditioning was not working, plus there were also no thick blankets provided on first night, we were quite cold, sleeping under the towels. It was also heavily raining so our clouhes couldn’t get dry during our whole stay. Thick blankets provided later also had musty odour. Property does not provide breakfast, only a fridge, microwave and some kitchen equipment, so the title is a bit misleading.

Very nice host. Comfortable room and bathroom, cleaned every day.

The host Maria was very cheerful and helpful. She made me a coffee upon arrival! I had difficulty booking a taxi for the early pickup upon my departure and when I asked for assistance, she did it all for me. The location was within easy walking distance of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the attractions surrounding it. Restaurants and convenience shops were also within walking distance. I would stay here again.

Nothing to add. It was a great place to stay.

The landlady is super nice. The room I stayed was equipped with a private bathroom and both where clean and tidy. The neighborhood is quiet and the temperature inside the room was cool enough: didn't have to turn on air conditioning. I stayed only for two nights as I was travelling for business reasons. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

The AC was very much appreciated. About 25min walk from the Pisa Tower. Clean place. We forgot something in the room and they let us come back after the check out to pick it up.

Firstly the place is displayed as a B&B. This is not a B&B, there’s no kitchen just a fridge and a microwave in the entrance’s corridor and no breakfast included. Also this is 4 rooms in a small appartement with a shared bathroom. The communication with the host was difficult, she only speak Italian and we happen to have bad Italian, we tried different languages or trying as much as we can to find a way to communicate but that made our arrival complicated. I asked if we could come and check in 2h earlier as we wouldn’t be able to make it later before 1/2am and she said yes, we told her 30min before that we were coming again she said yes but when we arrived she wasn’t here, we waited and she refused letting us just put our bags or letting us have the keys for the second room (we booked 2 rooms) at first because not everyone was here, she got irritated and said it wasn’t the time for the check in, everything got confused; we managed to have the keys but not access to the room we put the bags back in the car which wasn’t ideal at all as we were here for a festival. Also there’s no parking; you can park in the street in front of the accommodation however it’s only free during the weekend. We were lucky to be here only for Sat/Sun.

Great quite, clean and beautiful place and 6 mins from Pisa tower.
