Marsden Viaduct

Nice big rooms, excellent location.

Only fault I can make was the room was not ready in time. We had to wait till 4pm to get into our room. Lucky our sister n laws room was ready so we could wait there.

Great rooms, clean and loved the coffee pods. Central and accessible. Great place to stop for offloading our bags.

It was clean and as expected for a hotel.

Even a standard packages I am used to milk in the fir fridge, basic toiletries etc. I chose the place over another option due to the car park, only to find they are first come first serve - so I missed out. The team was late for my check out - I waited at the reception from 7am to almost 20 past as it was closed.

Location

Room was not as shown in photos. We were put into a disabled room for some reason which was significantly smaller for the price paid. Shower head broke. Fridge door was broken. Wallpaper peeling. Staff were not particularly helpful. Just going through the motions. Overall very poor experience and not great value for money at all. If you are going to rent that room to people then it should be reflected in the price.

Location was excellent.

Check in procedure and staff were poor. Apartments are in the Sofitel hotel, Sofitel staff do their best to help to make up for poorly performing Marsden check in crew. Personally saw Marsden staff make guests wait in the lobby for approx 20 minutes before coming to help.

Location was perfect for my needs.

Room aircon not great - room was hot despite turning the aircon to the coldest possible temperature. Bathroom was even hotter.
