Hotel Yaja Hwajeong Station

The room was spacious and had a good air conditioning.

The room was on level 7 and the elevator was reaching to level 6 only. I had to go up the stairs.

location was good and staff was helpful

The staff is very helpful, helping us to all our needs. The check-in time at 4pm is a bit late, but they provide us with luggage storage and washroom for us to freshen up.

The entrance to the hotel is not very obvious (also the lobby is on level 6). Luckily a few locals helped us to the entrance without even us having to ask, probably encountered many such deer in headlights tourist situation before :-)

We had two big double beds with a lot of pillows and a big bathroom. The staff were nice but didn't understand English at all. Rooms are big compared to some Korean apartments. Big plus and most amazing thing was always having drinking water.

We visited in August and it was unbearably hot weather but sadly in the rooms the air conditioner is really old, loud and hard to control because of that it was hard to sleep and it was blowing air right at the beds which got us ill. We knew that there were no windows but a fair warning that it is really hard without them for a longer stay. Our advice is to stay in this hotel only for a short time then it is an okay place to stay. The fridge wasn't working right and was wet inside.

Quite cheap, big room. Close to metro station and surrounded by many stores and restaurants.

Not the cleanest and everything felt a bit run down. Bathtub was leaking. Entrance was hard to find the first time.

Location

Cleanliness a bit lacking. The kettle was dusty on outside and had a stand of hair on inside. Bathroom sink drain was stuck. Shower head was a bit broken.
